Many thanks to everyone who has entered our ANZAC Show – your support has been much appreciated as have the number of you who have Sponsored Top Ten sections, given prizes, sponsored Breeder’s Award of Merit Rosettes, entered your cats and volunteered your name to Jo Millar to work for us over the two days of the show.
We are pleased to advise that we have really good entries and that although we have big numbers ALL the Judges have said they are happy to Judge the numbers that we have.
Very shortly you will receive an Exhibitors Pack in the post. There is quite a bit of reading so make yourself a coffee and sit back and have a good read.
Included in this pack will be any receipts that we may still have plus a typed note to tell you what cat or cats you have entered in our show. Could you take a moment and check that the SPELLING of your entries are correct. If any details are wrong please contact Jo Millar if it is a SHORTHAIR entry or Marg Harris if a LONGHAIR entry, both Jo & Marg can answer any queries on Domestics or Companions.
If you are a Sponsor then now is the time to get your advert to Dave Harris for inclusion in the Catalogue. Dave’s email is dave.harris@xtra.co.nz or if sent to Marg she will see that Dave includes them in the catalogue.
As a Sponsor you are welcome to have a stall in the Trade Hall – if you are wanting to have a stall you need to let our show Manager – Deb Armishaw know urgently as she is allocating the Stall Area shortly. Contact Deb on pernpet@xtra.co.nz
As a sponsor you are also welcome to put any flyers, cards or suitable info into the “kitty” bags which will be on the top of the cages.
PLUS if you do not wish to have a stall we will have a static stall or display area that you are welcome to put your information up upon for the Public to access. Once again please let Deb know so that we can allocate enough area for each Sponsor who wishes to utilise this option.
Jo Millar is still looking for a few more people who can help over the Saturday or the Sunday so please contact her if you can assist on Saturday or Sunday or both days. We do supply Morning Tea & a ticket to get food from the BBQ.
Set up will be on FRIDAY from 1pm – 5pm, and as the saying goes “many hands make light work” so everyone is welcome – anyone helping to set up is welcome to put their curtains in cages once we are finished.
The Judges and Show Committee will be having a Bistro meal at the RSA on Friday evening at about 7pm, anyone wanting to join us is most welcome but once again we will need to know if you are intending to dine with us for numbers. There will be an informal meeting of the Judges prior to 7pm.
The only other item from the Show Committee is the number of missing Registration numbers on the entry forms for mainly Kittens but also a number of CATS. We are sure that you are all well aware of the NZCF Show Rules and Registration rules regarding entry forms & registration of kittens, so can only assume that as we are now only 24 days away from our show that we will be flooded with all the missing Registration Numbers.
