Intrigue is the New Zealand Cat Fancy Inc breeders prefix of Jo and Lindsay Millar who reside in the picturesque township of Coalgate which is situated in the centre of Canterbury, New Zealand. Jo has been breeding cats for a number of years first beginning with Siamese and Orientals in 1985 and then joined by Burmese in 1989 and in 1993 Scottish Folds and British Shorthair. Currently, only Scottish Folds and British Shorthairs are bred by Intrigue Cattery. Jo is a senior NZCF shorthair cat judge & Intermediate Longhair Judge. Whilst she is away on judging assignments the cats are well tended for by Lindsay. Intrigue breed many of the colours available in these two breeds which include, Blue, Cream Torties, and Bi-Colours. Intrigue kittens are all house reared, and vaccinated before departing for their new homes at 12-14 weeks of age. All Intrigue babies are reared alongside other household pets including dogs.
